OUR HISTORY

It was 1969, Tom and Marlene Evans had four kids playing ball for Hazelwood Khoury League. Tom Sr., who was VP, arranged a candy sale and the league raised $10,000, which was a huge amount of money at the time.

Seeing a need, Tom Sr. started selling to other leagues in the St. Louis area. Nestle, Hershey, and M&Ms proved to be easy to sell and make the league and teams profits for uniforms, equipment, travel, etc.

As time went by schools, scouts, YMCAs, bands, daycares, dance schools and on and on — raised funds to reach their goals. Little did they know, Tom and Marlene were building a company that has now helped groups raise over 30 million.

Tom Jr. joined his father in 1980 and expanded to more products like seasonal brochures. This enlarged the customer base to include elementary schools as well.

In 1993 we survived the flood. The warehouse and office were under 10 feet of water and the company had to move into a different building for nearly 2 years. Luckily all the candy and computers were saved but it was still a very hard time.

In 1997 Marlene retired and two years later Tom III joined his father and grandfather.  Jenna Evans-Hollrah (Tom Jr. daughter) came aboard in 2009 making it a true family owned business.

In 2007, Tom Sr. retired making Jr. the new President. Yet, retirement for Tom Sr. means  coming to work everyday.
